Scorio

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what Scorio collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the service.

1. Information you provide

When you create a Scorio account, we receive information such as your email address, name, and authentication details. You may also provide a GPA goal, theme preference, tasks, and other settings used to personalize the dashboard.

2. Canvas information

If you connect Canvas, Scorio reads the courses, assignments, due dates, grading groups, scores, and related information needed to provide grade calculations and planning tools. We store the Canvas domain and protect your access token using the application's secure token-storage system.

Scorio reads your Canvas information to provide the service. Scorio does not submit coursework, change grades, or modify your Canvas classes.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, sync your Canvas data, calculate projections, show deadlines, save tasks and preferences, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and communicate about your account or the service when necessary.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your Canvas coursework data to advertise to you.

4. Storage and security

We use access controls, row-level security, encrypted connections, and protected token storage to help keep account and Canvas information safe. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so keep your credentials and Canvas token private and contact us if you notice suspicious activity.

5. Service providers

We may use trusted infrastructure and service providers to host the application, authenticate accounts, store data, and operate Scorio. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and under appropriate protections.

Canvas is a separate service. Information sent to or received from Canvas is also subject to Canvas's policies and your institution's rules.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account and dashboard information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can delete your account from Settings. Account deletion is intended to remove your Scorio data and stored Canvas connection, subject to limited backups or records that must be retained by law.

You can revoke Scorio's Canvas access by deleting or revoking the token in Canvas. This does not automatically delete your Scorio account.

7. Your choices

You can review or update account settings, change your theme, disconnect Canvas, revoke your Canvas token, and delete your Scorio account through the available settings. You can also contact us about questions or requests related to your information.

8. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The current version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of Scorio after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
