Terms of Service

Last updated: August 23, 2026

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Scorio. By creating an account or using Scorio, you agree to these terms.

1. Using Scorio

Scorio is a student dashboard that helps you organize Canvas course information, understand grades, and plan upcoming work. You must be at least the age required to use online services in your jurisdiction, and you are responsible for the information you provide.

You agree to use Scorio only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access another person's account, or use Scorio to obtain data you are not authorized to access.

2. Canvas connection

When you connect Canvas, you authorize Scorio to read the Canvas information needed to provide the dashboard. Scorio does not submit coursework, change grades, or modify your Canvas classes.

You are responsible for entering a valid Canvas domain and token and for revoking the token in Canvas if you no longer want Scorio to access your data. Canvas remains a separate service governed by its own terms and policies.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your Scorio sign-in credentials and Canvas token confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or token has been used without permission.

We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third-party systems, or when an account violates these terms.

4. Dashboard information

Scorio calculates projections, targets, and planning suggestions from available course data. These calculations are informational only and are not a guarantee of a final grade, GPA, academic standing, or admission outcome. Always confirm important information with your school and Canvas.

You retain responsibility for academic decisions, deadlines, submissions, and communication with your instructors.

5. Service availability

We work to keep Scorio useful and available, but the service may change, become temporarily unavailable, or depend on Canvas and other systems outside our control. We may update or discontinue features over time.

6. Ownership

Scorio and its software, design, branding, and original content belong to Scorio or its licensors. These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the service or its intellectual property to you.

7. Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, Scorio is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Scorio will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Scorio changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Scorio after an update means you accept the revised terms.
